Our Story
Founded from a shared love for animals and a determination to make a difference, Apollo Pet Rescue began with a single rescue and a big dream.
It all started when our founder, John Doe, stumbled upon a stray dog huddled in the corner of an alley on a rainy night. Cold, hungry, and alone, the dog was in desperate need of help. Unable to turn away, John took the dog in, provided care, and eventually found him a loving home. That one act of kindness sparked a realization—there were countless animals like him in need of rescue, care, and hope. But it wasn’t something that could be done alone.
What began as a small, grassroots effort from John’s garage quickly grew. Friends, neighbours, and fellow animal lovers rallied together, forming a network of volunteers dedicated to saving as many pets as possible. Over time, the organization became a lifeline for pets facing abandonment, abuse, and neglect.
Today, Apollo Pet Rescue is a thriving community of animal advocates, rescuing hundreds of animals each year. From cats and dogs to rabbits and more, we take in pets from overcrowded shelters, unsafe environments, and the streets, ensuring they receive the medical care, rehabilitation, and love they need to thrive.
We believe every animal deserves a chance at happiness, and through adoption, fostering, and outreach, we connect these deserving pets with families ready to give them the homes they’ve always deserved. Our journey has only just begun, and with the help of our amazing supporters, we continue to grow and give more animals their second chance at life.
